Gap Year: Lessons from a One-Way Ticket
This project was incredibly special for me, as you may be able to tell from the last name of the author here. My husband David has has had the idea of writing this book for a while now, and the day we can hold a hard copy of it in our hands is finally here.
Getting to edit this book was a joy and not only allowed me to dabble in the world of editing — which I have come to dearly love — but it also allowed me to learn more about the person I dearly love.
Reading and editing non-fiction has a way of drawing you in to the knowledge and the life experience you are reading about. Even as I was reading through the lends of grammar and mechanics, I was still also learning the lessons being laid out before me and leaning into the emotions the stories pulled out of me.
I know some will say I am biased, but this book is a great read and I highly recommend it for everyone :)
You can buy the book on Amazon here.
