WestPack was my first big client, and they set the bar high. This project was unique because of its multitude of people involved and products offered. First, it is a family business, and when I say family, I mean a big one! Each family member is involved in a special way, bringing their own interests and expertise to the business. I worked specifically with Hallie, who was full of life and love. She was a joy to work with, and the vision she put forth was easy to put into words.
Because this was a joint effort from the whole family, that meant that they brought multiple interests to the table that were wrapped up all in one clear vision - bringing the world to its customers. WestPack offers four unique packs tailored to four different personality types. Therefore, the writing had to be unique and personal for each individual pack since it was being tailored to a unique personality.
In the end, each pack received its own tagline, brief introduction, and full bio. The goal was for each person browsing the website to be able to connect with a pack, find interest in the products provided in that pack, and feel joy in hearing and supporting the unique artisans behind the products.
